Researched about President Jefferson Davis and the situation surrounding the beginning of the civil war. Starting to create the mindset of the President of the Confederate States and listing what obvious objectives are. Eg. The individual state has a sovereign and unquestionable right to secede from the union, also increasing the number of slave holding constituencies.
As a presenter and negotiator, I'm essentially left till researchers and writers offer the material so I can present it. However, looking at dressing in Southern attire is currently on the agenda, possibly as Uncle Sam (if possible)
Tasks: Co-convenor & negotiator So far I have helped delegate tasks (writing, researching, etc.), I have set up a facebook group to facilitate group communication and planning, and I am checking to make sure that everyone has there jobs under control. Luke Gunn, Katrina Zorzi, Paul Maniquiz and myself (the negotiators) have also arranged to meet prior to the convention to plan our strategy.
Co-convenor and negotiator. Read over the research done by the researchers and thought up scenarios upon which we could, as a group, give ground or be aggressive on, etc. - will be discussed with others later on... in approximately 17 minutes. Did practically nothing as co-convenor after the first two preparatory sessions, but Earl seems to have done a good job.
